Domestic markets likely to focus on corporate earnings, geopolitical developments in next week  

After rising for the second consecutive week, domestic markets are likely to focus on corporate earnings, geopolitical developments, commodity trends and foreign investors’ activity for cues in the week ahead. 
 
On the macroeconomic front, investors are expected to assess core industries’ output data for March, scheduled for release tomorrow. They will also closely monitor ongoing fourth-quarter financial year 2026 earnings. Elsewhere in Asia, the People’s Bank of China will announce its loan prime rates, and Japan’s trade and inflation data will be released next week.
 
In the United States, the outlook will continue to depend on developments regarding the conflict with Iran and its impact on global energy prices. Corporate earnings results will also remain in the spotlight.
