The makers of the upcoming animated feature film Mahaprabhu Jagannath have unveiled a new devotional music album, offering audiences a spiritually enriching musical experience ahead of the film’s nationwide release. The album has been launched across major streaming platforms and is already drawing attention for its blend of faith-based compositions, traditional devotional music, and Indian spiritual themes.
Designed to reflect the divine journey and teachings associated with Lord Jagannath, the soundtrack brings together a collection of songs in Hindi, Odia, and Telugu. The album combines traditional bhajans, Sanskrit chants, and uplifting melodies that aim to resonate with listeners across linguistic and cultural boundaries.
The soundtrack includes several devotional and emotionally driven compositions such as Jay Jagannath Title Song, Mahaprabhu Jagannath Title Song, Hey Prabhu Jagannath, Ahe Nila Saila, Mahavishnu Mantra, Chaturbhuj Jagannath, Garuda Gayatri, Vamana Stuti, and Brahma Gayatri. Each track has been crafted to reflect different dimensions of devotion, spirituality, and cultural heritage while remaining closely connected to the central theme of Lord Jagannath.
The album features the voices of renowned singers and artists including Somesh Satpathy, Atharva Bakshi, Aviral Kumar, and Abhay Jodhpurkar. Their performances contribute to the devotional atmosphere of the soundtrack, helping create an emotional and spiritual connection for listeners.
Speaking about the music album, producer Durga Prasad Dalai emphasized that the soundtrack was developed as more than just a collection of film songs. According to him, every composition was created with the intention of helping audiences connect emotionally with Mahaprabhu Jagannath and experience the purity and innocence that exist within devotion.
“The soundtrack was envisioned as a celebration of faith, spirituality, and Indian culture. We wanted every song to evoke emotions while maintaining a deep spiritual essence. The music is truly the soul of our film,” Dalai said in a statement.
Music contributor Aviral Kumar highlighted the emotional diversity within the album, noting that each composition carries a unique emotional texture while remaining spiritually connected. He explained that some songs inspire celebration, others evoke deep emotions, while several tracks offer listeners a sense of peace and reflection.
Singer Abhay Jodhpurkar also shared his experience of recording for the project, describing the process as deeply meaningful. He stated that the music naturally conveys devotional energy without forcing it, allowing spirituality and emotion to flow together authentically.
The release of the album serves as an important milestone for Mahaprabhu Jagannath, which is being promoted as the first installment in the studio’s ambitious “Sanatan Universe” series. The animated feature seeks to introduce audiences to the spiritual significance and cultural legacy of Lord Jagannath through storytelling, music, and visual artistry.
