In a significant push toward urban development and citizen welfare, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde inaugurated and laid foundation stones for various infrastructure and health projects across the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) area yesterday.Speaking at the event, Mr. Shinde described the occasion as a “pledge fulfilment ceremony”, emphasising that the projects mark the government’s commitment to honouring promises made to the citizens.
The Deputy Chief Minister inaugurated several key developments, including the renovated Dadoji Konddev Sports Complex Gallery, Khandu Rangnekar Badminton Hall Expansion, renovated Sheth Lakhmichand Fattechand Maternity Hospital (Kopri), Ayushman Urban Health Centres, Tertiary Sewage Treatment Plant (Kopri), and Mobile Health Clinic.
Mr. Shinde also performed groundbreaking for Anand Dighe Tower Redevelopment at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Ground, Thane Railway Station Beautification, Cluster Redevelopment & Shooting Range Complex (Balkum), major drainage works, etc.
