Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone became the first ever Indian actor to be attending the Academy Museum Gala, which was held in Los Angeles in the United States on Sunday.

Deepika, the first to be invited to the event hosted by the same board which organises the Oscars, scorched the red carpet joining other Hollywood personalities.

She looked sizzling in a blue velvet one-shoulder gown, which she complemented with open hairs and diamond jewellery.

The hugely popular star in India joined the celebrities like singers Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, Hollywood stars Natalie Portman, Meryl Streep et al at the red carpet.

At the start of this year, Deepika was the presenter of the Academy Award winning track from Indian film RRR, titled Naatu Naatu.

On the work front, the senior actress featured in two massively hit Hindi films, Pathaan and Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan.

She is now gearing up for Project K and Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter.
