A conference of the Tripura Pradesh Unorganised Workers Congress Committee convened at the Pradesh Congress headquarters in the capital city on Saturday. TPCC president Asish Kumar Saha and Congress MLA Gopal Roy were among the prominent figures present at the conference.

Addressing reporters, TPCC president Asish Kumar Saha emphasized the Congress’s unwavering commitment to championing the interests of the working class. He criticized the BJP-led government for its failure to fulfil promises and its imposition of anti-worker policies, which have adversely affected the working community.

The meeting focused on strategizing for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and discussed ways to strengthen the party’s organizational structure. Chairman of the Unorganized Workers Congress Committee, Santanu Pal, Pradesh Congress Committee vice president Shantiranjan Debnath, and District President Tanmoy Roy were also in attendance.

The conference highlighted the Congress’s dedication to advocating for the rights and welfare of the working class amidst challenging political circumstances.
