Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Friday said that the communists would not come back to power in the state again as they never change habits.

“Communists exploited the people of Tripura the most. Telling lies and delivering fake promises are their original face. They never change their habit and that’s why the public of the state will never vote them to power again,” Deb told an election rally at his constituency- Banamalipur.

Referring to Trinamool Congress, Deb said that the party whose leaders are involved in Sarada-Narada scams is just entertaining the people. The people of Banamalipur are well-educated and politically conscious; they wouldn’t vote for them (TMC), he added.

“The politics of communal hatred will not be accepted by the people of Tripura since it has turned into the land of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Deb told the gathering.

Meanwhile, he acknowledged the noticeable presence of women in his election rallies at various places- Camper Bazar, Kumarghat and Banamalipur and said, “when Matri Shakti is with you, it indicates that you are on the right track.”

Deb is campaigning hard in support of the BJP-nominated candidates across the politically-charged Tripura. As it seems, he is representing the party ahead of the civic body polls as the main face.
