Colombo celebrated the spirit of inclusivity and international sportsmanship tonight as players from six nations gathered for a special Meet & Greet and Gala Dinner ahead of the SBI 1st Women’s T20 World Cup for the Blind. At the event, Chairman of the Cricket Association for the Blind in India, Dr. Mahantesh G. Kivadasannavar expressed confidence that Indian team would win the World Cup. The event, held at Hangla – The Ocean Lounge at One Galle Face, brought together teams from India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, the United States, and Australia. The highlight of the night was a performance by the Samarthanam Sisters, a visually impaired vocal duo whose music set a celebratory tone.
