During his Ayodhya visit on Wednesday Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and his wife Niti Deb offered prayers at Ram Janma Bhoomi and other sacred places in the ancient city. He also offered aarati at the Sarayu Ghat.

Deb’s visit to Ayodhya was a part of all BJP Chief Ministers visit to Ayodhya . They were led by BJP National president JP Nadda.

Soon after the prayers the Chief Minister took to social media platforms in a series of short posts.

“Offered prayers at the Ram Janma Bhumi at Ayodhya along with BJP National President Shri JP. Nadda Ji & other CMs of BJP ruled states.

Just a sight of Lord Rama in Ayodhya gives the viewer an immense calmness and sense of fulfillment”, Deb wrote in a Facebook post.

He and others also visited the premises of Ram Janma Bhumi and got a glimpse of old artifacts of ancient times.

Sharing his experience, Deb wrote, “Along with Chief Ministers of the BJP ruled states, visited the place where a grand Ram Temple will be built soon.  I consider myself to be fortunate to have gotten the chance to visit this sacred place.”

“Blessed to have visited Sarayu Ghat in Ayodhya today. Performed Sarayu Aarti and prayed to Maa Sarayu to give the blessings of prosperity to the 37 Lakh people of #Tripura”, his social media post read.

Later he went to Ramdoot Hanuman at Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya and “Prayed to Lord Hanuman to give me strength to devote my life in the service of all the people of #Tripura.”
