Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha addressed several public grievances during the weekly ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ program held at his official residence. The initiative allows citizens to directly present their issues, ranging from medical treatments to infrastructure concerns.
During the session, Biki Rishidas from East Pratapgarh sought financial assistance for cancer treatment. Responding swiftly, the Chief Minister directed the hospital authorities to arrange immediate treatment at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Hospital in Agartala. Similarly, Bhajan Sarkar from Lankamura requested help for his son’s heart condition, to which the Chief Minister assured timely medical support.
In addition to healthcare concerns, citizens of Resham Bagan highlighted the deterioration of Manikya Sagar Lake, urging its maintenance for the community’s benefit. The Chief Minister instructed Urban Development Department Secretary Kiran Gitye to deploy an administrative team for inspection. Other public issues, including poor road conditions in West Bhubanban and medical needs from residents of Vishalgarh and Yogendranagar, were also addressed, with the Chief Minister ensuring immediate action.
High-ranking officials, including Health Secretary PK Chakraborty, GB Hospital Superintendent Dr. Shankar Chakraborty, and other key department heads, were present during the event, assisting in resolving citizens’ concerns.
