Central team on week-long tour to Dhalai

A team of officials from different central government Ministries is on a week-long visit to Dhalai district. On an exposure visit to the aspirational district, the officials held discussions with the district administration led by the District Magistrate Siddharth Jaiswal and discussed various centrally sponsored schemes, particularly the PM Awas Yojana and MNREGA. The team has also discussed welfare schemes for the tea workers. 

The six-member official team today visited several village panchayats in Salema RD block area of Kamalpur subdivision of Dhalai district. They also visited the Salema block office and thoroughly reviewed the implementation of various projects of the central and state governments. Besides, the team has inspected the implementation of 20 projects including MGNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, TRLM and interacted with the beneficiaries of Singinala, Avanga, Maharani and Baralutma Gram Panchayat areas of Salma block. The delegation visited the sub health centers located in the said four village panchayat areas. They were accompanied by Additional BDO Biplab Acharji of Salema Block, Kamalpur Sub-Divisional Magistrate L Darlong.

The team comprising Shailesh Kumar Sharma, Deepak Kumar Sinha, Shiv Kumar Mishra, Kumar Sundaram, Shakti Singh, and Prashant Rana will also visit different project sites and areas to see the instances of remarkable implementation of schemes in the district. The officials will also take a view of the beneficiaries on the experience and benefits of schemes.
