In a strategic move aimed at preparing for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP’s Sadar district committee held a ‘Karyakarini Baithak’ at the Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan in Agartala on Wednesday.
State BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee addressed the media and announced that the party would be organizing nationwide reach-out programs to celebrate the 9th anniversary of the Modi government.
“Under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP government is set to complete nine years of its successful tenure. To mark this occasion and to connect with the common people, informing them about the government’s developmental schemes and accomplishments, the state BJP will launch a month-long program,” Bhattacharjee stated.
The program is scheduled to commence on May 30 and continue until June 30, engaging in various activities throughout the state. Similar ‘Karyakarini Baithaks’ were held simultaneously in other political districts of the state BJP on the same day.
The Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik on Wednesday attended the party’s ‘Karyakarini Baithak’ here at Agartala and said that the ‘Karyakarini Baithak’ of the party is a part of massive public outreach programme of the party to highlight the report card of the 9 years of the PM Modi-led government at the Centre.
“We will reach to all walks of life here in our state as part of our massive outreach programme and highlight the achievements of the Modi-led government at the Centre,” she told reporters.
In context of the inauguration of the new Parliament Bhawan at Delhi, the MoS Pratima Bhoumik expressed her joy and happiness and said that the new Parliament Bhawan will facilitate smooth and efficient functioning of operations of the parliament.
Ashim Bhattacharjee, the Sadar district president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, emphasized the importance of strengthening booths and announced that rallies and several other programs would be organized across the state. This month-long campaign will also focus on preparing the party for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
As the BJP gears up for the future electoral battle, the programs aim to enhance the party’s outreach, communicate government achievements, and consolidate its support base.
