Following the instructions from Union Home Minister Amit Shah BJP state unit held a press conference to counter the Trinamool Congress’ wide campaign across the country , and as reported in the website that press meet was addressed by Union MoS Pratima Bhowmik and ICA Minister Sushanta Chowdhury in Hindi.
The BJP leaders came down heavily on the TMC for misguiding the people of the state and for playing the ‘stunt politics’.
The BJP claimed that the TMC , CPM and Congress had forged a shadow alliance and resorting to all sorts of mischiefs to misguide the people of the state. Bhowmik also pointed out that women were not safe in West Bengal where a woman is the Chief Minister. She referred to the massive violence and atrocities that were committed against the BJP workers and women in West Bengal after the TMC returned to power there.
In Tripura their politics would not bear any fruit. After the civic polls results were declared, their all strategies as devised by the I-PAC would come a cropper.
Chowdhury, alleged that the TMC in its affidavit had misguided the Supreme Court by furnishing false information.
