BJP announces January 19–20 schedule for National President election under Sangathan Parv 2024. Nomination, scrutiny, and possible voting to be held at BJP headquarters in New Delhi, with Nitin Nabin likely to be elected unopposed.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has officially announced the schedule for the election of its National President, marking a crucial organizational milestone under its ongoing nationwide campaign, Sangathan Parv – 2024. The election process is expected to play a decisive role in shaping the party’s leadership and strategic direction in the coming years.

The announcement was made on Friday through an official notification issued from the BJP’s central office in New Delhi. Dr. K. Laxman, Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament and National Returning Officer for the election, confirmed the timeline and procedural details, underscoring the party’s commitment to a structured and transparent internal democratic process.

According to the notification, the electoral roll for the National President election was published on January 16. The nomination process is scheduled to take place on January 19, followed by scrutiny of nominations and the withdrawal window on the same day. If the election process requires voting, polling will be conducted on January 20 between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM. The official declaration of results will follow shortly after the completion of voting.

All stages of the election process will be held at the BJP headquarters located at 6-A, Deendayal Upadhyay Marg, New Delhi, which will serve as the central venue for organizational proceedings during this period.

BJP sources have indicated that the election is likely to be uncontested. National Working President Nitin Nabin is widely expected to be elected unopposed, as no other senior leader is anticipated to file nomination papers. If confirmed, his elevation would reflect a consensus-based leadership transition within the party’s top organizational structure.

The National President election comes at a time when the BJP is actively strengthening its organizational framework across states and regions. The Sangathan Parv initiative, launched to reinforce grassroots connectivity and internal cohesion, has been progressing steadily, with state and regional organizational appointments already underway.

Dr. K. Laxman emphasized that Sangathan Parv is advancing methodically toward its objective of consolidating the party’s organizational strength. He described the election of the National President as a “significant milestone” in this journey, noting that it will provide leadership continuity and strategic clarity for the party’s future roadmap.

Political observers view the upcoming election as a key step in preparing the BJP for upcoming electoral challenges and policy-driven governance goals. The National President plays a central role in guiding organizational discipline, electoral strategy, and coordination between the party’s leadership and its grassroots workers.

As the BJP moves closer to finalizing its top leadership, the January 19–20 timeline signals both stability and strategic intent, reinforcing the party’s focus on organizational unity, leadership consolidation, and long-term political planning.
