Indian civil engineer M . Visvesvaraya contributed significantly in technology. Success will come if more engineers would involve themselves into providing advanced services for public welfare following his footsteps , stated Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in his speech in the 54 th Engineer’s Day programme held today at Prachya Bharati school campus, Agartala. He said, one should immerse oneself in public welfare taking themselves as part of the government instead of thinking oneself as an employee. He emphasized on responsibly finishing work in time by setting a time limit for it. A few frontline Covi d warriors were felicitated on this day ’ s programme for their special contributions.

Chief Minister planted a sapling in the school campus. After this, the Chief Minister inaugurated M.
