Guwahati/IBNS: Assam Agricultural University (AAU) has introduced a pioneering technology that produces tea powder from raw tea leaves.

The brainchild of Dr. Aditi Smith Gogoi, an associate professor in the Department of Tea Husbandry and Technology, this pioneering technique is set to invigorate Assams tea economy and usher in a windfall for over 500 organic tea cultivators in the region, reports Sentinel Assam.
