Major Asian stock markets ended mixed today. South Korea’s Kospi Index rose over 0.9 per cent, Singapore’s Straits Times Index ended half a per cent up, and Japan’s Nikkei 225 added almost 0.3 per cent. On the other hand, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index dipped nearly half per cent, and Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.4 per cent. Major European indices were trading in negative territory today. Germany’s DAX declined over one and a half per cent, London’s FTSE 100 dipped nearly half per cent and France’s CAC 40 was trading over 0.3 per cent down, when reports last came in.
