Assam Rifles Public School celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm and splendour, transforming the school campus into a vibrant hub of culture, creativity, and community spirit. The colourful event drew an impressive gathering of over 2,500 attendees, including parents, alumni, invited dignitaries, and members of the local community.
The celebration was graced by Brigadier Nishant Chandel, Commander of 21 Sector Assam Rifles, who attended the programme as the Chief Guest. Adding further dignity to the occasion were the Guests of Honour, Colonel Sahil Sharma, Commandant of 35 Assam Rifles, and Swati Sharma, First Lady of 35 Assam Rifles. Their presence elevated the significance of the event and inspired both students and parents alike.
The programme began with a warm welcome address, followed by a series of meticulously planned cultural performances. Students showcased their talents through captivating dance dramas, melodious musical renditions, and thought-provoking thematic presentations. The performances reflected powerful messages of unity, patriotism, social harmony, and environmental responsibility, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.
A major highlight of the evening was the felicitation ceremony, where students who achieved success at the National and State levels, along with school toppers of the Board Examinations, were honoured. The achievers received certificates and accolades amid loud applause, as dignitaries congratulated them and encouraged them to aim higher in their academic and personal journeys.
Addressing the gathering, Brigadier Nishant Chandel emphasized the importance of holistic education. He noted that while academic excellence remains vital, equal importance must be given to cultural activities, sports, and creative pursuits. According to him, such balanced exposure helps develop discipline, leadership qualities, confidence, and creativity in students.

The school’s Principal, Animesh Acharya, presented the Annual Report, offering a comprehensive overview of the institution’s progress.
