NDA and Mahagathbandhan have intensified their poll campaigning to woo the voters for the Bihar assembly elections. Leaders of NDA and the Mahagathbandhan are holding several election rallies across Bihar in support of their candidates.
“Addressing a public meeting in Raghunathpur in Siwan district, senior BJP leader and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, said that the tenure of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress had taken Bihar backwards.
He added that if the NDA comes to power, Bihar will become a developed state with improved law and order. Mr Adityanath alleged that if the Mahagathbandhan forms the government in Bihar, the state will again move backwards. He will also address rallies today in Bhojpur and Buxar districts.
Meanwhile, addressing a rally in Sarai Ranjan in Samastipur, RJD leader and Mahagathbandhan’s Chief Ministerial candidate Tejashwi Prasad Yadav said that he would fulfil his promise of providing government jobs to one member of every family. Mr Yadav alleged that the NDA government has no vision for the state.
Several NDA leaders will continue to address multiple election rallies today. Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address rallies in Darbhanga, Samastipur, and Begusarai, while Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will speak at rallies in Hayaghat in Darbhanga. and Barh in Patna.
Senior Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, will also launch his election campaign today. Along with leaders of the Mahagathbandhan, Mr Gandhi will address public meetings in Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga.
In addition, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will also hold election rallies in support of NDA candidates.
