Five nominated members of Agartala Municipal Corporation take the oath of office on Monday. The newly nominated members are Aditi Bhattacharjee, Tapan Lodh, Nishsikanta Sinha, Pranjit Banik and Doctor Manoj Debroy. The nominated members have been sworn in through a simple programme at the AMC Conference hall. Additional District Magistrate West Tripura Ashim Saha administered oath to the newly nominated councilors. Speaking on the occasion Mayor Deepak Majumder said that the newly formed AMC council is indebted for the overall development of Agartala city. “We are working to make Agartala a clean and green city. I hope the newly nominated members shall also play their part in making Agartala a beautiful city in the future”, he added.
