The all-party parliamentary delegation led by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor reached Bogota, the Capital of Colombia. During a Media interaction, Mr Tharoor said that there can be no equivalence between those who dispatch terrorists and those who resist them. He added, there can be no equivalence between those who carry out attacks and those who defend against them. Mr Tharoor said, in Pakistan, a well-publicised funeral of one of the terrorists on the sanctions list was attended by uniformed senior military and police personnel from Pakistan. He noted that the extent of complicity that the world is seeing between the terrorists who perpetrate crimes of this nature and those who finance, guide, train, arm and equip them and provide them a haven to continue their training and other awful deeds.

Another High-level delegation led by NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule concluded its diplomatic visit to South Africa today. During the visit, the delegation held a series of meetings with political leaders, think tanks, and members of the Indian diaspora in South Africa. Speaking to the media in Johannesburg, Ms Sule stated that South Africa has supported India’s stance of zero tolerance toward terrorism.
