The All-India Consumer Price Index for Agricultural Labourers rose by 0.76%. For Rural Labourers, the index saw a similar increase of 0.69% for August this year on month-on-month basis. The Ministry of Labour and Employment, has released the Consumer Price Index (CPI) numbers for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers for August 2025. The year-on-year inflation rate remains low. It stands at just 1.07% for Agricultural Labourers and 1.26% for Rural Labourers. The report indicates that food inflation for August was actually in negative territory. The food index inflation fell 0.55% for Agricultural Labourers and 0.28% for Rural Labourers.
