Akashvani and Doordarshan are fully prepared for the live coverage of the 76th Republic Day parade from Kartavya Path on Sunday. The live coverage of the event will be broadcast and telecast across the entire Akashvani and Doordarshan network, as well as on the WAVES OTT platform.
To assess the preparations at Kartavya Path, Secretary of Information and Broadcasting, Sanjay Jaju, reviewed the arrangements made by Akashvani and Doordarshan for the live coverage yesterday. Mr. Jaju commended the efforts of the teams, highlighting that everyone is working diligently to ensure a seamless telecast and broadcast of this significant national event. He also noted that cameras and optical fiber lines have been set up to guarantee uninterrupted coverage of the Republic Day parade.
Prasar Bharati CEO, Gaurav Dwivedi, said that this time, 4K cameras have been deployed to ensure high-quality picture resolution, which is eight times better than before. He also mentioned that the parade will be broadcast on the WAVES OTT platform.
