The star attraction of the concluding ceremony will be a live performance by renowned Bollywood playback singer Jubin Nautiyal, whose arrival has generated enormous excitement across the city.
Unity Promo Fest, organised annually by the Tripura Tourism Department, has become a major crowd-pulling event aimed at promoting the state’s cultural vibrancy and tourism potential. This year, the fest travelled through five popular tourist destinations across Tripura, drawing thousands of enthusiastic visitors. Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, who has been actively overseeing the event’s arrangements, announced on social media that free entry passes for the December 12 concert will be distributed between December 8 and 11. Passes will be available from 12 noon to 4 PM at the Tourism Directorate located in Swetmahal, Agartala. The announcement has sparked a rush among music lovers eager to secure their entry to the high-energy musical night.
The Minister highlighted that this year’s Unity Promo Fest has once again succeeded in uniting communities, celebrating youth culture, and attracting tourists from both within and outside the state. He noted that the final event aims to showcase Tripura’s dynamic spirit while offering residents a memorable evening with one of India’s most celebrated singers.
On Sunday, Minister Chowdhury visited Swami Vivekananda Maidan along with senior tourism officials, engineers, and representatives from various government departments to inspect the preparations underway. The inspection team reviewed multiple aspects of the venue, including stage construction, sound and lighting installations, barricading, emergency exits, and seating arrangements.
Security arrangements were a major focus during the inspection, as a massive turnout is expected. Police personnel and event organisers are reportedly coordinating to ensure that crowd management, traffic control, medical facilities, and emergency response systems are fully in place. The Minister directed officials to implement all necessary safety measures and ensure smooth entry and exit for attendees.
During his visit, Chowdhury stressed that the government is committed to creating a vibrant atmosphere that reflects Tripura’s cultural richness. He urged all departments to work in close coordination so that both local residents and visitors can enjoy the event comfortably. He also appealed to the public to extend full cooperation to make the finale a grand success.
