His first responsibility within the party came as the booth president in the Kakraban Assembly constituency. From there, he steadily climbed the organizational ladder and was later entrusted with the leadership of the Kakraban Mandal. His educational background and professional experience in the pharmaceutical sector helped him maintain a strong relationship with people across Udaipur subdivision and the erstwhile South Tripura region.

According to people in the area, large numbers of residents visit his residence every morning seeking assistance on different social and personal issues. Many believe his popularity is rooted not only in politics but also in his long-standing service to ordinary citizens during his years as a businessman and social worker.
