A total of 3,651 voters joined the BJP in Sabroom on Sunday in presence of Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare- Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar, which is viewed as the direct result of the ruling BJP’s recent booster drive in its organizational activities. Only on August 24 as many as 1394 voters had joined the BJP in Belonia.

However, according to BJP sources the Sabroom joining turned out to be the biggest ever such programme after BJP- IPFT government came to power,

Recently on September 5 last, 956 voters joined the BJP Barjala in West Tripura district.

BJP was quite upbeat about the recent spurt of joining ,–about 6000 voters within weeks– especially in view of the upcoming elections and increased political activities in the state.

“The spontaneous presence of so many people indicates that the government is functioning in the right direction”, said Deb addressing the rally.

He said the state government was working with the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Viswas’. He said the unemployed youths need not to be disappointed as the government already conducted examinations for 5000 posts.

“Apart from an increase in average income, the state is now witnessing an all-round development,” Deb said.

The Union Minister of State appreciated the works done by the Biplab Kumar Deb-led government in healthcare and education. She pointed out that the state government had set an example in Covid pandemic management.
