Vivek Joshi, Secretary to Border Management MHA reviewed status of border fencing along Tripura and other infrastructure works with BSF, Central PSUs, CPWD, DMs and state government departments. Various issues got resolved during the meeting, said Chief Secretary Kumar Alok.
The central team led by Joshi, arrived in Tripura on Saturday on a two-day visit.
Soon after arriving in Agartala, the central team along with Chief Secretary Kumar Alok reviewed the status of border fencing and other infrastructure.
A tweet from the Chief Secretary said various issues got resolved in the meeting.
As part of his Tripura visit, the Secretary, Border Management will take stock of the border infrastructure, management and on-going projects in the state.
He is scheduled to visit the border areas to inspect border infrastructure projects at Dhalai (NPCC fence and road project), undemarcated boundary of Muhurichar river and unfenced gaps in Sonamura on Sunday.
