The Joint Recruitment Board, Tripura (JRBT) has announced that the interview process for Group-C posts will resume next month, after a gap of three months. The interview process was postponed due to the imposition of the Model Code of Conduct for the assembly elections.

The board, in a notification released on Thursday, stated that the document verification and interview of Group-C posts would be resumed. The Provisional Admission Certificate (for interview) already issued for Group-c candidates will be valid for corresponding rescheduled dates commencing from May 4, 2023. The other terms and conditions shall remain unchanged, according to the notification.

The revised schedules for the interview process have been uploaded on the official websites – www.jrbttripura.com and www.employment.tripura.gov.in, along with the roll numbers of the provisionally qualified candidates. As per the notification, the interview process will continue until June 6, 2023.

The Joint Recruitment Board, Tripura had conducted the written examinations on August 22 last year against around 2500 Group-C posts. After a gap of three months, the interview process for the same has now been resumed.

Meanwhile, there was a strong demand among the aspirants on social media for resuming the interview process. Many of them thanked Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha as the JRBT announced the revised schedules for the interview.

In the meantime, a large number of job aspirants who appeared for Selection Test for Graduate Teachers (STGT) on Thursday demanded early declaration of results without any further delay and sought the intervention of the Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha.

The STGT aspirants gathered in front of the Shiksha Bhawan and expressed their concern over losing jobs on any further delay of declaration of results for the examination that they had appeared for. They were worried that the inordinate delay in the declaration of their results would render many of them ineligible for government jobs.

According to them, around 172 ST candidates had appeared for the STGT examination, while the number of vacant posts reserved for them was 230. They urged Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha to look into the matter and ensure that the education department declares the result without any further delay.
