Two Tripura schools, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya and Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir, have earned recognition in the EducationWorld India School Rankings. Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya secured 20th place nationally, while Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir ranked fourth in Tripura.
Tripura has earned national recognition in the education sector, with two prominent schools receiving honours in the latest EducationWorld India School Rankings. Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Viveknagar, Agartala, secured a place among the country’s top 20 schools, while Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir achieved fourth position in the state.
The recognition highlights the contribution of Tripura’s educational institutions to academic excellence, student development and quality education, bringing wider attention to the state’s achievements in the field of learning.
Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, located at Viveknagar in Agartala, secured the 20th position nationally in the latest assessment conducted by EducationWorld. The school has maintained its presence among the country’s highly ranked institutions for three consecutive years, reflecting its continued recognition in the annual rankings.
According to the information shared about the achievement, the institution secured the 22nd and 23rd positions in the previous two years before moving up to 20th place this year.
The achievement drew appreciation from Jishnu Dev Varma, Governor of Maharashtra and former Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura. He congratulated the Secretary Maharaj, Swamijis of the Ramakrishna Mission, teachers, staff members, students and alumni for their contribution to the institution’s accomplishment.
Dev Varma also highlighted the school’s distinction as the only institution in the Northeast recognised by UNESCO as an Associated School under the UNESCO Associated Schools Network (ASPnet), describing the achievement as a matter of pride for Tripura and the wider region.
The UNESCO Associated Schools Network promotes international understanding, peace, intercultural learning and sustainable development through education. The school’s association with the network adds an international dimension to its educational activities and institutional identity.
Meanwhile, Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir has also received recognition in the EducationWorld India School Rankings, securing fourth position in Tripura.
