New and Renewable Energy Minister Pralhad Joshi holds review meeting to strengthen Renewable Energy initiatives

New and Renewable Energy Minister Pralhad Joshi held a comprehensive review meeting with senior officials of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. In a social media post, Mr Joshi said that the meeting focused on accelerating India’s green growth and strengthening Renewable Energy initiatives across the country, with a special focus on the Northeastern States.
The Minister also reviewed the implementation of key Central Government schemes, including PM Surya Ghar, PM KUSUM and PM-JANMAN, and discussed measures to address implementation challenges and unlock India’s renewable energy potential. On the occasion, Mr Joshi directed officials to further strengthen renewable energy activities, expand access to clean energy and ensure that the benefits of sustainable development reach every corner of the country in the journey towards a Viksit Bharat.
