Union Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries- Dr. Sanjeev Balyan held a review meeting of the Animal Resources Development department.
The Union Minister of State arrived in the state on a two-day tour on Sunday. He took a thorough review of the ongoing works and development plans under the department.
Bhagaban Das, minister of Animal Resource Development department, and the officials of the department were present in the meeting.
According to sources, he would visit the College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry at R.K. Nagar on Monday morning to interact with faculties and students.
He is also scheduled to visit ICAR complex, Lembucherra to inspect the poultry farm and hatchery unit on the same day.
