Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha launched the Sampriti Sankalp Abhiyan by handing over sacred Kalas containing holy soil from Sant Guru Ravidas Ji’s birthplace to BJP district leaders, promoting equality, harmony, social justice, and humanity across every Assembly constituency in Tripura.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday formally launched the Sampriti Sankalp Abhiyan by handing over sacred Kalas containing holy soil brought from the birthplace of Sant Shiromani Shri Guru Ravidas Ji in Varanasi (Kashi), Uttar Pradesh, to BJP district presidents. The initiative marks the celebration of the 650th birth anniversary of the revered saint and aims to spread his timeless teachings of equality, harmony, social justice, and service to humanity across every Assembly constituency in Tripura.
The ceremonial programme was held at the Sri Sri Ramakrishna Saradeshwari Math on Akhaura Road in Agartala, where religious rituals including Shiv Rudrabhishek and Maha Yajna were performed to commemorate the occasion. The event witnessed the participation of BJP leaders, devotees, eminent personalities, and members of the public.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Saha said the sacred Kalas carrying holy soil from Sant Guru Ravidas Ji’s birthplace would travel to every Assembly constituency in the state as part of the Sampriti Sankalp Abhiyan. The campaign seeks to promote the saint’s enduring ideals of social equality, communal harmony, and selfless service, inspiring people from all sections of society.
Sharing his message, Dr. Saha said that the values preached by Sant Guru Ravidas Ji remain relevant even today. He noted that the saint dedicated his life to removing discrimination and promoting the principles of equality and brotherhood. According to the Chief Minister, these ideals continue to guide society towards justice, compassion, and peaceful coexistence.
Dr. Saha expressed confidence that the campaign would help strengthen social unity across Tripura while encouraging people to embrace the teachings of Sant Guru Ravidas Ji in their daily lives. He emphasized that preserving and promoting such spiritual and cultural values is essential for building a harmonious and inclusive society.
The Chief Minister also highlighted that the sacred soil brought from the saint’s birthplace symbolizes respect for India’s rich spiritual heritage and serves as a reminder of the importance of humanity above all divisions. He hoped that the initiative would inspire the younger generation to uphold the principles of equality, fraternity, and service for the greater good of society.

Mayor Dipak Majumder, senior BJP leaders, district presidents, religious leaders, and a large gathering of devotees attended the programme.
