Rupee gains 3 paise to close at ₹94.53 against US dollar

In the forex market today, the rupee appreciated by three paise to close at 94 rupees and 53 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 99.65 in intra-day trade.
