Rupee appreciates by 8 paise to close at 95.27 against US dollar

 
 In the forex market today, the rupee appreciated by eight paise to close at 95 rupees and 27 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 99.97 in intra-day trade.
