The draft voter list for the upcoming Village Committee elections under the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) has been officially published. A total of 9,60,430 voters have been enrolled, including male, female, and third-gender voters, marking a crucial milestone in the Village Committee election process.
The draft electoral roll for the upcoming Village Committee (VC) elections under the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) was officially published on Tuesday, marking a significant step in the electoral process ahead of the much-anticipated polls.
According to the draft voter list, a total of 9,60,430 voters have been enrolled across Village Committees in different parts of the state. The electoral data reveals a balanced voter distribution, with 4,81,471 male voters and 4,78,957 female voters included in the draft roll. Additionally, 2 voters have been registered under the third-gender category.
Election officials stated that the publication of the draft electoral roll is an important procedural stage before the final voter list is prepared. The draft roll will allow eligible voters to verify their names and details and submit claims or objections, if necessary, within the prescribed period.
