Ishita Das topped in both the PCM (Physics Chemistry Mathematics) and PCB (Physics Chemistry Biology) streams in the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination.
The result of the TJEE was announced on Monday.
Nabarun Bhattacharjee scored second to Ishita in the PCM while Maanjit Majumder lifted the third position. In PCB group, Souradeep Das took the third position leaving the third slot for Nabarun Bhattacharjee.
There were altogether 3,788 students for the exams this year. Among them a total of 2,384 general candidates belonged to the general category while 726 and 678 candidates were from ST and SC category respectively. The number of students which appeared under the PCM group stood at 1,560 and in the other stream the number of students recorded 3,081
Now, according to the ranking in the results of the JEE the students will be able to get admitted in professional courses like Engineering, Paramedical, Veterinary, physiotherapy and some other important branches.
