The TTAADC election campaign intensifies in Teliamura as BJP leader Bikash Debbarma urges peaceful voting. A massive bike rally supporting candidate Billu Jamatia highlights rising political momentum, voter engagement, and organizational strength ahead of polling day.

As the campaigning for the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections reaches its final and most intense stage, political activity in the Teliamura subdivision has surged significantly. On Friday, a large-scale bike rally organized in support of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Billu Jamatia transformed the region into a powerful display of political mobilization and electoral enthusiasm.

The rally, which drew more than 1,500 riders and supporters, began near the Chakmaghat Barrage and covered several key areas including Mungiakami, North Maharani, South Maharani, and Kalyanpur, before concluding at Manikbazar. Throughout the procession, participants raised slogans and displayed strong party support, reflecting the heightened political atmosphere ahead of polling.

At the start of the rally, Minister for Tribal Welfare Bikash Debbarma addressed party workers and local residents. Speaking with confidence, he emphasized the importance of peaceful and fair voting. He stated that attempts to create fear or disruption would not deter the democratic process. According to him, voters are determined to participate in a secure environment and will express their mandate without fear or pressure.

His remarks were seen as a direct appeal for maintaining law and order during the election process, while also projecting confidence in the party’s performance at the polls. The minister highlighted that the strength of democratic institutions depends on free and peaceful participation by citizens.

Candidate Billu Jamatia, who led a road show during the rally, engaged directly with residents across the route. He reiterated his development agenda, focusing on improved access to drinking water, better educational infrastructure, healthcare services, and long-term economic self-reliance for the autonomous council region. His outreach efforts were aimed at strengthening grassroots support and connecting with voters on local issues.

Observers noted that the rally significantly intensified political activity in Teliamura. The scale of participation demonstrated the BJP’s organizational strength and its ability to mobilize large groups of supporters during the crucial final phase of campaigning. The event also reflected growing competition among political parties, as opposition groups continue to conduct their own campaigns and outreach programs across the region.

With large-scale mobilization efforts continuing, the focus now shifts to voter turnout and the conduct of peaceful elections across all constituencies.
