On Friday, a large-scale bike rally organized in support of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Billu Jamatia transformed the region into a powerful display of political mobilization and electoral enthusiasm.
The rally, which drew more than 1,500 riders and supporters, began near the Chakmaghat Barrage and covered several key areas including Mungiakami, North Maharani, South Maharani, and Kalyanpur, before concluding at Manikbazar. Throughout the procession, participants raised slogans and displayed strong party support, reflecting the heightened political atmosphere ahead of polling.
At the start of the rally, Minister for Tribal Welfare Bikash Debbarma addressed party workers and local residents. Speaking with confidence, he emphasized the importance of peaceful and fair voting.
