Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Tuesday visited the construction site of new MLA hostels at Capital Complex in Agartala.
The project started in 2016 is nearing completion, the Chief Minister said, adding that allotment for the newly-built flats would be given soon. Deb said the complex would have 42 (2 BHK) flats with various facilities including gym, park and canteen.
Speaking to the media, the Chief Minister said that there was a shortage of quarters and the new facility would help meet the shortage.
The complex has been built in a highly secured zone- Capital complex. The location is also good with GBP hospital, Secretariat, Assembly and Raj Bhavan situated at a short distance.
During the visit, the Chief Minister was accompanied by Secretary, PWD- Kiran Gitte and other officials.
