State government has decided to hold D.El.Ed examinations online.
SCERT director N.C. Sharman told the media that the government had taken the decision to hold online examinations for D.El.Ed students. He said the routine of the examinations would be announced soon.
The government decision came in the wake of BJP student body ABVP agitation pressing for the demand.
The ABVP activists had staged a day-long protest at Shiksha Bhavan in the city on September 7 last demanding online examinations for the D.El.Ed students. Even police had to resort to mild lathi-charge to disperse the protest.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) brought positive results as the D.El.Ed examinations would now be held online.
