PM Modi visited LNJP Hospital in Delhi to meet Red Fort blast survivors, assuring that conspirators behind the deadly explosion will face justice. The NIA has formed a 10-member special team to investigate the terror attack.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday visited LNJP Hospital in New Delhi, where he met survivors of the Red Fort blast, reaffirming his government’s commitment to ensure that those responsible for the terrorist attack are brought to justice.
Taking to social media platform X, PM Modi wrote, “Went to LNJP Hospital and met those injured during the blast in Delhi. Praying for everyone’s quick recovery. Those behind the conspiracy will be brought to justice.”

The Prime Minister arrived in the national capital after concluding a two-day state visit to Bhutan. Immediately upon his return, he drove straight to LNJP Hospital, where he interacted with victims of the November 10 car explosion that rocked the area near Red Fort Metro Station. Modi spoke to the injured, enquired about their treatment, and assured families of full government support.
According to officials, PM Modi was briefed by senior doctors and administrators about the condition of the admitted patients. He also reviewed the ongoing security and medical arrangements following the tragic incident.
‘No One Will Be Spared,’ Says PM Modi
Earlier on Tuesday, addressing a public event at Changlimethang Ground in Thimphu, Bhutan, PM Modi had expressed deep grief over the deadly Delhi blast. He stated that the Indian investigative agencies were already working round the clock to uncover the conspiracy behind the explosion.
“Today, I come here with a very heavy heart. The horrific incident that took place in Delhi yesterday evening has deeply saddened everyone. I understand the grief of the affected families. The entire nation stands with them,” PM Modi said.
“I was in touch with the investigating agencies throughout last night. Our agencies will get to the bottom of this conspiracy. The conspirators behind this will not be spared. All those responsible will be brought to justice,” he added.
The Prime Minister’s statement has been widely shared, drawing support across political lines and social media platforms, where citizens have lauded the government’s swift response and assurance of justice.
NIA Forms Special Team to Probe Blast
Meanwhile, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has constituted a special 10-member team to probe the explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort. The team will be led by NIA Additional Director General Vijay Sakhare and include an Inspector General (IG), two Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs), three Superintendents of Police (SPs), and several Deputy Superintendent (DSP)-level officers, according to sources.
The formation of this high-level team underscores the government’s seriousness in investigating the terror angle behind the explosion, which killed at least eight people and injured dozens.
Blast Linked to Possible Suicide Attack
The blast occurred around 7:30 p.m. on November 10, when a Haryana-registered car parked near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station exploded. Initial investigations suggest the possibility of a suicide attack, designed to inflict maximum casualties.
Officials from the Delhi Police Special Cell, NIA, and Intelligence Bureau (IB) are jointly examining more than 1,000 CCTV footage clips to trace the sequence of events. Investigators are also analyzing forensic evidence recovered from the blast site, including vehicle debris, explosive residues, and mobile fragments.
According to preliminary reports, the car was parked in a high-traffic area, close to several public transport points, suggesting a deliberate attempt to cause large-scale panic.
Nation on High Alert
In the aftermath of the explosion, security alerts have been issued across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Mumbai. Authorities have intensified surveillance and patrolling around crowded marketplaces, metro stations, and religious sites.
Senior officials have directed all state police units to maintain heightened vigilance during the festive season. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has also requested intelligence-sharing coordination among state and central agencies to prevent potential follow-up attacks.
Public and Political Reactions
Citizens and political leaders have expressed solidarity with the victims and praised the Prime Minister’s quick outreach. Opposition parties, while condemning the blast, have urged for stronger counterterrorism measures and public safety initiatives.
Social media platforms saw an outpouring of messages under hashtags like #DelhiBlast, #PMModi, and #JusticeForVictims, with many urging authorities to deliver swift justice.
