41 Assam Rifles felicitates students in Nagaland

The 41 Assam Rifles, Kiphire in Nagaland organised a felicitation programme for the students who were selected to study at Sainik School, Punglwa for the year 2021- 2022 on Saturday at Kiphire.

Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, T.Wati Aier, NCS urged the students to study hard as unemployment problems are on the rise.

He encouraged the students to join Sainik Schools, as they get many privileges, especially in the armed forces. The objective of the school is for all-round development of the students, mentally and physically.

Aier urged the selected students to become renowned officers and uplift the society in days to come. He also appreciated the Assam Rifles Bn for organising the felicitation programme for the students and also the good deeds done by them especially during the landslide.

Commander, 41 Assam Rifles in his short speech thanked the parents, teachers and the Principal of the School for their contribution and efforts made towards the selected students.

He also stated that altogether there are 33 Sainik Schools and two more to come up.

He urged the students to work hard because many more privileges will be given to those students who can secure good marks.  He said that in the year 2020 the central Government of India had declared that female candidates will be also allow to join in the Sainik School and so  he appeal the parents and the teachers to send their daughter and students to Sainik  School in the days to come.

Altogether, three students were selected, out of these two boys and one girl, four students were in waiting list.
