Haryana Development and Panchayat Minister Krishan Lal Panwar said, the Haryana Olympic Association has opened a new chapter in the state’s sports history by organizing a state-level Kabaddi competition under the theme “From Soil to Medal.”
He said the event has provided a new platform for thousands of players to pursue national and international success. Mr Panwar was speaking at the closing ceremony of the competition held in Kurukshetra today, where the final matches were also played.
In the men’s category, Sonipat emerged champion, followed by Bhiwani in second place, while Kaithal and Rohtak shared third place. In the women’s category, Jind secured first position, Charkhi Dadri came second, and Hisar and Bhiwani shared third place. The Minister honored the winning teams with medals and trophies.
