United States of America President Donald Trump said that after two harrowing years in darkness and captivity, 20 courageous Israeli hostages are returning to their families. US President Donald Trump said this while delivering remarks to Israel’s Parliament ‘The Knesset’ in Jerusalem today.
Speaking on this occasion, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called US President Donald Trump, the greatest ally of Israel. Mr. Netanyahu credited Mr. Trump with recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and brokering the Abraham Accords, which normalized relations between Israel and several Arab nations. He also praised Trump’s role in proposing the current ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas, saying it fulfils all of Israel’s objectives and affirmed his commitment to peace.
Speaker of the Knesset Amir Ohana echoed this sentiment, stating the world needs more leaders like Trump and pledged to support a Nobel Peace Prize nomination for him in 2026.
