Super Typhoon Ragasa claimed three lives in the Philippines after slamming into the country’s north last evening. A fishing boat capsized off Cagayan province, killing one person, with six still missing. Another victim, a 67-year-old man, was found dead on a La Union shoreline after falling into a river.
In Benguet province, a 74-year-old man died in a landslide that hit his vehicle. Ragasa exited the Philippines this morning. Meanwhile, Laos faces warnings of flash floods and landslides due to expected heavy rain and strong winds.
