President extends greetings on occasion of Janmashtami

President Droupadi Murmu has extended warm greetings and wished Indians living in the country and abroad on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. In her message on the eve of Janmashtami, the President called it a festival filled with joy and enthusiasm. She said that the life and teachings of Bhagwan Shri Krishna inspires people towards self-development and self-realisation. She added that Bhagwan Shri Krishna enlightened humanity about attainment of ultimate truth by following the path of Dharma. President Murmu highlighted that the festival inspires people to adopt eternal values embodied by Yogeshwar Shri Krishna. She urged everyone to take a pledge to follow the teachings of Bhagwan Shri Krishna and make the society and nation stronger.
