President & PM thanked world leaders for their warm greetings on Independence Day

President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked world leaders for their warm greetings on India’s Independence Day. In a social media post, President Murmu thanked Israel President Isaac Herzog and Maldives President Dr Mohamed Muizzu for their warm wishes. The President asserted that India remains committed to furthering friendly ties with the people and the Government of Maldives. The President also wished for peace, security and development for the citizens of both Israel and India.Mr. Modi also thanked France President Emmanuel Macron, Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, Mauritius Prime Minister Dr Navin Ramgoolam, and Maldives President Dr Mohamed Muizzu for their greetings on the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day. The Prime Minister said that India remains committed to deepening the strategic partnership with France and wished that the bonds of friendship between India and Bhutan grow stronger in the times to come.
