Government is working on multi-pronged plans for the welfare of the people in all parts of the state. The government is transparently delivering government schemes and services to the last person of the society said, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) ManikSaha on Tuesday while inaugurating Sushason Mela at Chhantail High School premise in Kailasahar,Unakoti district.
Chief Minister said at the programmethat several steps have been taken to improve the communication system. Only improved communication system will accelerate the overall development of the state. As a result of the initiative of the state government, the NF Railway Authority is upgrading the Agartala railway station. Now 12 long distance trains are running in the state. 6 national highways are under construction in the state. Recently, the central government has sanctioned 10,222 crore rupees for 7 more national highways in the state.
At Sushasan Mela, the Chief Minister handed over bank loan cheques, e-SHRAM card, Ayushman card, PradhanMantriAwas Yojana approval letter, walkingaids among divyangjans, agricultural aids etc. to the beneficiaries. More than 1 Crore rupees have been provided in Sushasan Mela. Chairman of Chandipur Panchayat Samiti Lucky Pal Das presided over the programme. Welcome speech was delivered by District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar. Chairman of Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Tinku Roy, SahakariSabhadhipati of Unakoti Zilla Parishad Shyamal Das, District Superintendent of PoliceKantaJangir and others were present at the programme. 19 exhibition stalls from different departments were opened in this Mela.
The Chief Minister first arrived in Kailasahar last morning and inaugurated the Manu Valley Bhoirbthali Community Hall. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that there was no development in Chandipur during the previous government. Chandipur will change in coming days. Here the Chief Minister interacted with some beneficiaries. Rs 26. 27 lakh have been spent on the construction of this community hall in Manuvalley.
The Chief Minister visited Unakoti district yesterday and inaugurated the Farmers Knowledge Centre in Srirampur Panchayat. The Government of India’s KrishiVikas Yojana has spent 44 lakh 25 thousand rupees on the construction of this Farmer Knowledge Centre. Later in the afternoon, the Chief Minister inaugurated the SrilaBhuvaneshwarSadhu Thakur Cultural Development Centre at Chirakuti, Kailashahar. A total of Rs 1.84 crore was spent for the construction of this centre.
Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) ManikSaha then inaugurated Unakoti district level Skill, Loan and Job Fair under Sankalp Project at ITI premises in Kailashahar. In his inaugural speech, the Chief Minister said that the purpose of this fair is to make people self-reliant. It is an initiative of the Government of India. To be self-reliant, training is necessary. The skill of work of the trained person also improves. He said that the government has given special importance to women empowerment. The presence of women in every programme has proved it.
Unakoti district level Skill, Loan and Job Fair was presided over by Sabhadipati of Unakoti Zilla Parishad Amalendu Das. 40 stalls of different departments were opened in the fair. Director of Skill Development Sanjay Chakraborty gave the welcome speech.
