India U-20 Women beat Uzbekistan 4-1 in Tashkent friendly

In Football, India’s Under-20 Women’s national team convincingly defeated Uzbekistan 4-1 in their second friendly match at the Do’stlik Stadium in Tashkent last night. The two sides were tied 1-1 at half-time. For India, Sibani Devi Nongmeikapam netted two goals, while Sulanjana Raul and Neha scored one each. For Uzbekistan, Shakhnoza Dekanbaeva was the lone scorer. Unlike the first friendly that ended with a 1-1 draw, the visitors took the lead this time.
