In Hockey, the inaugural India Masters Cup 2025 has reached its semifinal stage, with exciting clashes lined up in both men’s and women’s categories. In the men’s section, Tamil Nadu will face Chandigarh, while Odisha will take on Maharashtra today. In the women’s category, Tamil Nadu will play against Odisha, while Hockey Haryana will play against Punjab tomorrow.
Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Haryana, and Punjab advanced to the women’s semifinals after strong performances in the quarterfinals. Tamil Nadu defeated Karnataka 3-1, while Odisha crushed Kerala 10-0, led by Sarita Lakra’s five-goal haul and a hat-trick from Minz Sarita Roshan. Haryana thrashed Himachal 8-0, and Punjab overwhelmed Maharashtra 13-0.
In the men’s category, Maharashtra edged past Karnataka 2-1 while Chandigarh advanced by defeating Haryana in a shootout after a 2-2 draw.
