Pawan Bartwal storms into quarterfinals at Thailand Open with dominant 5-0 win –

Must Read

Indian boxer Pawan Bartwal advanced to the quarterfinals of the men’s 55kg category at the 4th Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament with a dominant 5-0 win over Cambodia’s Sao Rangsey in Bangkok yesterday.

Bartwal, a silver medallist at the National Championships, showed great skill and strategy in the ring.

The 26-year-old repeatedly pinned his opponent in the corners, and a brilliant bob-and-weave move midway through the second round opened the door for another clean strike. This was Bartwal’s second straight win in the tournament. India has sent a 19-member team to the event, which features top boxers from countries like China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, South Korea, and Thailand. The tournament is supported by the World Boxing-backed Asian body.
