Demanding immediate recruitment TET qualified candidates placed deputation to the Director of Elementary Education on Tuesday.
Handing over the deputation to Chandni Charan, Director of Elementary Education with four –point charter of demands the TET qualified unemployed youths of 2021 Batch, demanded recruitment for all at a time.
Addressing the reporters the job aspirants briefed the four charter point demands to the media. The demands included immediate recruitment of teachers at all the primary schools of the state in all the eight districts. They demanded the government to think about the TET qualified candidates who were going to cross the limited age bar soon, and recruit them immediately. The demands also included improvement of the infrastructure of the govt. schools that were in a dilapidated condition.
The job aspirants further added, “We have met the Education Minister 5-6 times, though unfortunate but it’s true that we did not get any positive outcome from the Education Minister. They also pointed out the fact where state government showed 12,000 vacant posts and conducted TET exams with relaxations, when only 1,194 candidates passed. But the government has failed to fulfill the posts yet.
The job aspirant youths said, “We are more than 3, 500 sitting jobless but no initiative is being taken to recruit us”.
Tripura government has been delaying the recruitment of teachers when there are only few months left for election period and after that all recruitments will be halted due to elections.
